Checklist for Temp-air Treatment

Preparations for Thermal Remediation® Heat Treatments

  • Secure a parking space for the power source trailer close to the treatment area, if necessary.

Please have these things in a box(s) they also maybe be placed in the Refrigerator:

  • All aerosol can and any compressed gases
  • Remove people and pets (including fish, bird, lizard, dog, cat, pet rodents, etc…)
  • Alcohol (of any kind. Lighter fluid….), flammable or combustible chemical compounds. Lighters, butane, propane refills, fireplace logs, oil, grease
  • Gun powder and or all Bullets, gun cleaning compounds, rags, and polishing items
  • Batteries, remote controls, toys with batteries in them, cameras
  • Audio and video tapes, films, photo negatives, any external memory recording items, Records (The old style LP’s or 45’s and for that matter 78’s)
  • Nail Polish, nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol, acrylics, shoe polish
  • All Medications, vitamins (they need to be placed in the refrigerator or bathroom)
  • Indoor plants including seeds and bulbs
  • Soap, Candles, Wax, Lipstick, cosmetics, crayons, pictures (oil Paintings),
  • Chocolates, candy, carbonated beverages, any food products that contain sugar substitutes (instant drink mixes, sugar substitute packets, diet snacks), fruits and vegetables, breads
  •  Crafts assembled with hot melt glue (native arts, school projects, picture frames), Priceless Art objects, thermal paper (register tape, thermal fax paper, carbonless duplicate forms)
  • Instruments may be de-tuned by the heat. It is your responsibility to have these instruments re-tuned.
  • Unplug all electronics (computers, televisions, clocks, phones, stereos, microwaves, coffee pots, lamps)
  • Anything items of value that might be damaged by temperatures ranging between 114°F – 150°F needs to be placed in the bathroom, refrigerator or removed from the area being treated and treated alternatively with mild chemical treatment or natural treatments of your choice.
  • Paper documents should be stowed properly so as not to blow around the room because fans will be operating to help move the heat around the room
  • Open all drawers, closets, and cabinets that are in the area to be treated
  • Turn off all fans, ventilating air conditioning and dust collectors. Document aged wall paper/paint; property owner/manager is responsible for any needed repair and we will not be held responsible for any damages.
  • Shut off all smoke detectors, security alarm systems and notify Security Company of scheduled activity.
