Unique Chemistry

The MetaActive'M Advantage
Normally, molecular
degradation reduces the efficacy of insecticides. With the active ingredient in Advion" the opposite is true-metabolic
degradation actually increases its effectiveness. After exposure to Advion' an insect's enzymes cleave off a part
of the active ingredient's molecule; this converts the molecule into the more powerful MetaActivem compound. '
MetaActive'M then attacks the insect's nervous system, resulting in paralysis, followed by death. This unique
physiological activation explains how Advion" can outperform other bait products. |
Formulation
Advion" contains an active ingredient, food-based carriers and several special attractants. It also includes
carbohydrates that appeal to the specific feeding preferences of the targeted pests.
Ants find Advion" so
attractive that they'll favor the gel over food sources in the field, often completely surrounding the bait just minutes
after application.
Some ant species will suck liquids right from a gel deposit. Others tear small pieces of gel
from the deposit with their mandibles. Either way, once they ingest Advion" ants return to the nest site and begin contaminating
other members of the population through direct contact and trophallaxis. The slight delay in activity allows ants to behave
normally for several hours before dying-which in turn results in significant population mortality and thorough overall control.
Nonrepellents. A proven
solution.
In the past several years, the pest control industry has been revolutionized by new
pest control technologies, especially in the area of non repellents or "undetectable" liquid treatments. Unlike
older insecticides, undetectables can't be smelled, tasted, or even felt by pests. So they crawl through the treated area,
not knowing that by ingesting treated materials or merely contacting the insecticide, they'll die.
"Secondary kill" for even greater control.
One of the best features
of the products we use is their ability to control pests that have not come in contact with the treated area. This unique
control effect, known as "secondary kill," allows one pest to expose another pest to the insecticide, which kills
it. Pests expose each other to these undetectable liquids in various ways including touching and grooming each other, and
exchanging food. It is this secondary kill action that explains the incredible performance and their ability to control entire
pest populations at low doses.

The Products we use are labeled for application
as a spot or crack and crevice spray to areas where pests normally inhabit or are likely to infest, and is proving to be one
of the most effective indoor ant and cockroach control products available. In fact, there's no better general pest control
program.
This helps to solve the growing issue of "bait aversion.", Ants and cockroaches repeatedly
cross through the treated zone.
Our product offers multiple advantages over repellent products. It prevents ants
from being trapped within structures, which commonly occurs with repellent pyrethroids. Plus, due to its unique mode of action
and activity, Our products must be metabolically activated in the insect; therefore, unlike repellent pyrethroids, they are
not subject to the same resistance mechanisms commonly found in German cockroaches. And if ant and cockroach baits are being
used in an IPM approach, the product we use is, a true nonrepellent, and can be used in conjunction with baiting for longer-term
control. The result of all of these benefits is that they provide excellent ant and cockroach control, eliminating populations
within days.

Ants
and cockroaches need food and water, and they need a way to gain access to your home. Since they can be very persistent, you
need to be just as persistent. By taking some simple steps to help control nuisance pests, you can be part of the Inside-Out
solution.
Inside: - Clean
up spilled food and beverages.
- Diligently
take out the trash.
- Rinse out jars and containers
before you place them in trash cans and recycling bins.
- Pick
up and store your pet's food before going to bed.
- Seal
doors and windows.
- Keep rain gutters clean
to prevent moisture inside walls. Trim trees and shrubs away from your house; ants can use limbs as "bridges" to
gain access.
- Put firewood up off the ground
and away from your house.
After Treatment
Initially, after the treatment, you may still see some ants crawling
around. If you do, don't kill them or spray insecticide around them. We want them to transfer the product to other pests.
Once they have had time to do their job, ant and roach activity will stop.
